Welcome to the “Sober Thoughts” curriculum for High Schools! This curriculum was designed to follow up the in-person or virtual Sober Thoughts presentation. It an be added to an existing curriculum or it can be a stand alone curriculum.
The Breakdown
This curriculum takes the entire presentation the students saw and breaks it into shorter segments by topic. Each segment has a video, class discussion questions, and class activity and/or assignment.
The Goal
This dynamic curriculum makes it easy to keep your students captivated while they not only learn about the dangers of substances, but more importantly, focuses on why students turn to these substances. This will give your students and educational experience that will have them thinking differently. It’s designed to inspire and empower, so when they face the difficult situations, they will be prepared to work through instead of using a substance to run from.
